In addition to various aspects of pragmatics (pragmatics of online discourse, methods in pragmatics, experimental pragmatics), I have taught undergraduate and graduate
courses on language diversity in the USA, language and gender, sociolinguistic frameworks, and cognitive linguistics, resulting in interesting synergies such as an
edited volume on global hip-hop spurred by a graduate sociolinguistics course.
I welcome applications by students interested in working in any of these areas.
